When we come to a Gnostic circle we seek teachings and initiation into the Way - the activation, recognition and realization of the Light-presence and Light-power in us. Yet, at the same time, this desire to enter into the Sacred Circle is a desire to bring something of the Light to the Circle, to add our Light to the Light of the Circle, and Light adds unto Light. In each of us that comes to the Gnostic circle there is the Desire to Receive and Desire to Give joined, whether or not we are aware of it at the outset - there is something more than personal salvation that calls us, something more than our own enlightenment and liberation. The Sacred Circle is a vehicle for a Power greater than itself, as are the members that compose it; hence a vehicle for the Divine presence and power of the Risen Christ, the Holy Spirit. Indeed, there is an energy dimension within and behind the Gnostic circle (the Holy Bride) and it is an Emanation Body of the Savior; the Divine incarnation continues to transpire with, in and through us to the degree that we allow the Light-presence and Light-power to take up our personality and life-displays. This is the power of a true Gnostic circle or any authentic mystical circle.
In this we understand the dynamic interaction of spiritual self-worth and spiritual humility in the Sophian teachings. Spiritual humility is our active and dynamic surrender to the Anointed and Holy Spirit, and spiritual self-worth is our generation of a new self-identification with fully evolved and realized being, hence the new self reborn of Christ. Already we are established in the Resurrection and Ascension, and here, in this world we walk as Light-bearers, hence the meaning of the spiritual elect in Gnosticism - individuals seeking to be of the greatest possible benefit to all living spirits and souls. Indeed, entering into the Sacred Circle we aim to take up our cross and follow in the way of the Savior!
The association of the zodiac signs with the twelve saviors teaches us that we bring our unique individuality and talents to the Sacred Circle and that we complete the Sacred Circle or Mystical Body as we join ourselves to it - each and every one of us. We enter with spiritual humility, but also with spiritual self-worthy, and as much as seeking to receive teachings and initiations, we seek to share of ourselves and to give what we have to offer to the service of the Great Work.
It is said that the spiritual labor of our Tzaddik is our own spiritual labor, and that the spiritual labor of the Sacred Circle is dependent upon each and every companion of the Circle, outer, inner and secret. One who is called by the Spirit into a Gnostic circle has come into this world to facilitate the Great Work - in meeting their Tzaddik and the spiritual comanions of the circle, they have met their true brothers and sisters in the Spirit, their enlightened family (hence others who share in the spiritual labor for which they have entered into the world). In other words, there is something more transpiring behind the appearances of a Gnostic circle than at first meets the eye - a movement of the Anointed and Mother Spirit, and our own Soul of Light. Lord Yeshua was attempting to communicate something of this great mystery to his disciples early in the discourses composing the Pistis Sophia.
Gnostic Gospel book one, chapter seven: "Therefore, I have said to you from the beginning that in truth you are not of this world, nor am I of it. For all beings who are in the world received their souls from the power of the archons of the aeons. But the power which is in you is from me, and your souls belong to the height. The twelve powers of the twelve saviors of the Treasury of Light I have brought, taking them from the portion of the power that I received at the beginning."
May the Mother Spirit bring us into the fullness of this Holy Remembrance, and may she bless us to fulfill our soul's mission in this life, amen
I would like to first praise and glorify Him for never leaving me, for the
love that I can not fathom and His never ending presence. I am always
amazed and at wonder of all that He reveals to me and the ability given by
Him to do great things for humanity. I am greatful to all those who have
given themselves to His work and the passing on of that which is given to
us by Him. This is an edification of what he has show to me over time and
the expantion of that wisdom and knowledge.
